Trinity’s organist and choir director Istvan Dioszegi died on September 29th, 2018. Istvan joined Trinity in January 2017. Prior to that, he played at St. James church in St. James from 2001-2016 (being originally hired there when Fr. Bartolomeo served as its rector). His repertoire included organ music of Buxtehude, Bach, Handel, Krebs, and other baroque masters. He had a PhD in nuclear physics and worked at the Brookhaven National Laboratory. He will be greatly missed.
