In 1942, French author-illustrator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and his wife, Consuelo, rented a house in Asharoken. Here, he was inspired to write and illustrate his classic text, The Little Prince. It has been translated into 600 languages, second only to the Bible.
Trinity Community Art Center, in collaboration with the Northport Historical Society and Northport Books, is hosting an open call for artwork inspired by The Little Prince. Original works should be 8 ½” x 11” and will not be returned. Once exhibited, they will become part of a handbound monotype to be donated to the Northport Historical Society, permanently documenting the influence of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
$20 artist participation fee, students enter for free
Peoples choice awards given to student participants and open participants.

Exhibition Opening: Saturday, June 6, 2026 at TCAC 4-6 pm. Winners will be displayed in Northport Books and the Northport Historical Society.
