Altar Guild

When we think of the Offertory at worship, we usually think of the offerings of bread and wine for Eucharist, coupled with the offering of our money for the work of the Church. In addition to this, the monies given to pay for items used in worship, such as candles and flowers, is also considered part of what we offer to God. Therefore, parishioners are encouraged to make contributions in thanksgiving for blessings they have received or for the lives of their loved ones. The suggested donation for weekly flowers is $55. A yearly donation of $25 is suggested for the overall expenses of bread, wine, linens, candles, and the cleaning of altar hangings. In addition, special offering envelopes are available for Christmas and Easter.

Please note that during Advent and Lent, flowers are not placed on the altar.
